INFORMATION: Superb vintage engraving printed in 1846 by Combette in Paris. The illustrations of places and traditions around the map were created by painter Raymond Bonheur, father of painter and sculptor Rosa Bonheur.
Note that the arrondissement boundaries have been enhanced in color by hand (in the publisher's workshops) to highlight the administrative boundaries of the threearrondissements, twenty-four cantons and communes resulting from the 1846 census.
